Roadmap

The big picture roadmap of anabrid technology development is the following:

  1. Inventing and patenting ideas, circuits and concepts.
  2. Discrete development: Development of affordable and quickly built discrete prototypes based on printed circuit boards (PCBs). Evaluation and correction as needed. Development of neccessary firmware and software based on this hardware platform.
  3. CMOS development: Development of chip-level integration custom silicon, standard CMOS, 65nm low voltage. Evaluation of the tapeout, correct if neccessary.
  4. Chip product readyness: Cheaper housing in a second tapeout, development of ESD protected and high voltage variants to improved the usability in industrial applications.
  5. Technological advance: Advances in nodal size, advanced housing, advanced interposers, 3D stacking. This stage is called “resetting Moore’s law” because we can go down all the rabbit hole at high speed of what digital processor design was doing the last 40 years.
  6. Technological embrace: We decided for later-stage incorporation of future technologies such as non-silicon, real memristors, photonic or quantum technologies in order to boost the analog technology beyond any competitors.
